What We Need to Complete an Investigation
It’s straightforward. In order to investigate your claim, we must receive the following from you in writing as the Complainant.
- Include applicable copyright or trademark registration number.
- Include a screenshot of the work in question in context on the web-page.
- Include a link to the web-page where you see the material.
- Provide a “good faith certification” – This document is signed under penalty of perjury and states that the work in question is your property as the Complainant, that the work has been copied without your permission, that you have exclusive right to the challenged material, and use of the work has not been authorized by you as the copyright owner or agent thereof. NOTE – If you are acting as an agent of the complaining party, we require written documentation stating, under penalty of perjury, that you are in fact the Complainant’s agent – that you, as the Complainant’s agent, are their legally authorized proxy and able to act on their behalf as the owner the challenged material.
- Provide your contact information so we know how to best reach you – please include address, phone number, and email address. It would help to know your time zone and best hours to reach you.
- Submit the above information, in its entirely, to support@webhostinglogic.com and with a SUBJECT LINE: “Copyright Investigation Request – PamelaCulp.com”
